Our story
Two carers, one home each
Velvet Leash is Lynne and Keith: two trusted carers, each devoted to one home at a time.
We started Velvet Leash because we know the feeling of leaving a much-loved home and the animals in it, that little knot that follows you out of the drive. We wanted to build the service we would trust ourselves: one carer, one home, nothing rushed and nothing shared. When you're away, someone who genuinely cares is home.
Our mark is a key because that is what this work truly is: being trusted with one.

Every home, every family and every companion is unique, so rather than a fixed tariff, your quotation is prepared personally for you. We discuss everything — your home, your companions, how often you need us — at a complimentary meet & greet, and your tailored rate follows privately.
Some families simply want their companions cared for; others ask us to look after the whole home while they are away. Larger and country homes, additional companions, puppies, and specialist or equestrian care are all shaped around you and quoted individually.
We take on only a handful of families, looked after again and again.
